RANGE ROVER EVOQUE "Laser Sketch"

This was a pitch deck created for Range Rover's 2012 Evoque line of cars. The concept involved following four friends out on the town who draw the outline of an Evoque with their fingers which then materializes around them. As the car takes shape, the camera zooms out, revealing the city of New York and many glowing Evoques buzzing around the streets of Manhattan. The camera stops in orbit around earth with the logo forming around it. We shot the still in and around Bushwick, Brooklyn at night using a Canon 5D Mark II. I photographed blue flashlight streaks in my apartment in the dark to create the lighting effects. I directed the creation of the styleframes, did all the photography, compositing, 3D, etc. All talent were just my friends.
